Prithviraj Sukumaran dropped an official update on Lucifer 2: Empuraan, a sequel to his directorial debut Lucifer. The 2019 movie that featured Mohanlal, Prithviraj and Manju Warrier in the lead roles was a massive hit. It became the first film in the history of Malayalam cinema to breach the Rs 200 crore mark at the box office. Sharing some glimpses from the upcoming sequel, the actor announced that the film's scripting had been completed and that the pre-production has begun.
