Kamal Haasan and director Shankar started working on the sequel to their blockbuster 1996 film 'Indian 2' after more than 20 years in 2017. The shooting was halted halfway following some unfortunate events. It was recently announced that 'Indian 2' will be revived soon following the grand success of Kamal's last film 'Vikram'.
The shooting of 'Indian' 2' is reportedly planned to resume on August 22 in Chennai. The makers have erected a grand set in a film city in Chennai.
